About the role:

We’re seeking a reliable and experienced HR Rear Lift Truck Driver to join a busy recycling and logistics operation. This role involves operating heavy rigid, rear lift vehicles to collect and transport recyclable materials while maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance, and efficiency.

 
Key responsibilities:

Operate heavy rigid, rear lift trucks collecting plastic bottles and cardboard bales
Safely transport loads across designated routes
Complete delivery paperwork and pre-departure documentation
Interact professionally with customers during pick-ups
Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
Maintain accurate driving hours, rest breaks, and vehicle records
Monitor vehicle performance and report maintenance issues
Comply with all traffic laws, safety policies, and fatigue management requirements
Ensure the safe and timely delivery of materials according to schedule
 
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

Valid HR Licence
Minimum 2 years’ experience operating rear lift vehicles
Strong awareness of safety and fatigue management procedures
Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Proven stable work history with minimal absences
Clean driving record and police check (must be provided)
Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test, including random site testing
Immediate and full availability for work
