Centrally located around Albert Park area
Our client is a well-known, Australian owned, catering business that was established over 60 years ago, and are in need of an experienced and capable Sales Manager to join the team on a full-time permanent basis.  As the Sales Manager you will be responsible for the support and delivery of sales strategies, initiatives and programs that optimise business growth in line with our vision and values of delivering an exceptional customer experience.

About the Role:
 

Act as an ambassador of the company by upholding brands standards and creating an exceptional customer experience at all times
Drive the development of sales initiatives and marketing opportunities that increase the profile and awareness of the designated portfolio
Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales growth
Establish and sustain a productive relationship with key client contacts and build relationships that promote the company and portfolio growth
Work collaboratively with members of the Business Development, Marketing, Venues, Catering and Events, and Sales divisions of the company in providing initiatives for sales, marketing and advertising opportunities
Lead the coordination of sales activities including sales quotes, handle client enquiries, event planning and support the social media and marketing content calendar with the marketing team whilst delivering the highest level of customer service
 
About You:
 

Bachelor of Sales or related field (Desirable)
Demonstrated experience and knowledge in a sales or account management role, ideally within multi-site operational and people management
Be a true salesperson with the unique ability to collaborate closely with the clients, executing their vision and offering expert, tailor-made advice on all things catering and events
Have a passion for sales, exceptional customer service and building strong, personable relationships with internal and external customers
Proficient in use of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint) and a knowledge of Salesforce is highly regarded
